Connection Committee
Hi together!
We are Réka, Tess, Daniel, Ruxi, Loek and Mareike, and together we form the Connection Committee. You might have already seen us at some of our previous events. If not, and if you are wondering what our wonderful committee is about, here is a small introduction to both of us and CrayCo.
Réka is from Hungary and 21 years old. She really likes Star Wars and is an incredibly lovely chair. However, she can be quite strict when the rest of us chat too much ;)
Then there is Tess who is the Vice Chair and Commisioner of Bonding. She is 18 years old and very talented when it comes to music and organizing fun things to do together. Quick replies in our group chat is not really one of her strongest points.
Daniel is our Treasurer, meaning we place all our trust in their hands when it comes to finances. They are 20 years old and originally from Italy. Daniel and Ruxi share an obsession with cats. They supply our group chat with the most adorable and perfectly fitting cat stickers.
Talking about Ruxi, she is 19 years old and has lived in so many countries that we sadly do not have the time (or the space here) to list them all. She has great sense of humor and is multitalented, having already served as our Secretary and Commissioner of Promotion.
And then there is me, Mareike. I'm also 19 years old and from Germany. I joined the Committee a little later when a spot opened up and now I serve as the Secretary.
Well, and then technically there is Loek our Board Member. But I'm sure everyone knows him so I don't have to introduce him.
As you can see, we are quite an international and diverse Committee of six passionate people. And this is also excatly what the Connection Committee is about: bringing together both first and old year Stromers and make fun activities together. We want everyone to feel welcome, included and involved in Storm. For us, it's important that you have a great time also besides your studies and that you meet amazing people who might even become close friends. We certainly did!
So far, we already organized a spooky and exciting murder mystery and a fun, interactive 30 seconds - extreme- game afternoon. And there is more to come! Make sure to mark March 4th and June 11th in your calendar because then it's CrayCo time.
