Hellooo Stormers!

 

*Coming Sunday, the 10th of December*, the Volunteer Community will have their community kickstart event: *A Day at Leger des Heils!* Leger des Heils is an organisation that helps out the homeless all over the country, with everything ranging from second hand clothing to probation (reclassering). We will go to their walk-in location in the heart of the city centre and help out with various activities such as serving tea and coffee ☕️, handing out shower coins 🚿, and playing games 🃏🎲 with the visitors etc.

 

They are open from 10:00-18:00 and work with morning (10:00-14:00) and afternoon (14:00-18:00) shifts. Both shifts have a pre-shift briefing before and post-shift debriefing (to recap and check in with everyone) of ±30 minutes. If you are not able to join for a full shift you are also welcome to come for a shorter amount of time to help out and get a taste of the volunteer work they do at Leger des Heils.
